Palma, the capital, is also located in the South. But it differs considerably from the neighbouring tourist resorts. Nightlife here isn't seasonal and is aimed at the city's resident population. The music tends to be more latin, although R&B is also very popular. Of course Palma does have areas which have a more cosmopolitan mix of people.

La lonja and Santa Catalina gain popularity in the summer months, both with foreign residents, tourists and the local yachting fraternity.
